Because we don’t have these threads nearly often enough, or at least not anymore.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is the capital of Nunavut, Canada’s largest, yet least populous subdivision. The territory of Nunavut is the size of Western Europe, but has the population roughly the size of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan (Heard of Moose Jaw? No? Exactly). It’s also quite possibly the worst place in the world to own a car, because, well, it’s the Arctic. And no roads at all connect towns, except for a road that connects Iqaluit with a suburb called Apex. Because of this, a good portion of people get about on snowmobiles. There aren’t even any car dealerships in the entire territory, and every single car has to be imported from another part of the country. Most roads in Iqaluit didn’t even have names until recently, and when telling a cab driver to go somewhere, most people use local landmarks instead of addresses.
So, this should be fun.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is my pick, a pair of Jeep Comanches, which are also parked right next to an XJ Cherokee. Whoever lives here must REALLY like their XJs.

It was 75 here today. Drove by the beaches, there were girls in bikinis. Probably flatlanders, but still pretty hot considering.

You’ll almost never see a new truck or car, the cost ship them there is crazy on top of the MSRP. There’s also a tiny shipping window due to ocean ice.

Nice find. When I eventually make it up there I’ll have to track the guy down and gift him one of my spare taillights.

My brother and I have been cracking that joke periodically at each other since they announced it was becoming its own territory. So almost 20 years now, which is impressive considering I’m only 25 and he’s younger than me.
